Remembrance Sunday 2018 marks the 100 year anniversary of the armistice. Across the country, at 7 pm beacons were lit all over the country to commemorate the end of the great war. In honour of those that served in the war, those who had loved ones that served in the war and those who paid the ultimate price for their country.

The event started off with a reading, then a short poem, commemoration sing-along, followed by a 1 min silence. After-which the Cadets Bugles Sounded for the lighting of the beacon. The evening finished off with a spectacular ending of fireworks choreographed to music by Will which were not to be missed. (See Video’s Below)

The event raised funds for the charities “Help The Heroes” and “The Royal British Legion”.
